A thought

My life so far has mostly been about getting the best, and then eventually realizing the best isn’t what’s best for me.

Does that make any sense?

It’s like I’ve reached the top of the mountain only to find out that the view is blocked by the clouds.

And now I’m wondering if it would have been better to just stay on top and wait to see if the clouds would disappear instead of going back down to search for a new mountain to climb.

Just admire the clouds until they change course 🙂

Sometimes what we think is best really is best. Other times our idea of what’s best changes. And, sometimes we just need to be patient. Enjoy what you have, it may go from good to better to best!

This makes total sense! I have felt like this quite often and I have to say I just keep climbing different mountains!

Same here! But for some reason, I don’t get tired of climbing new ones.

I’d say that makes perfect sense. I’ve been in the same predicament, too.

The nice thing is, no matter what, you will always have this mountain.

So true. It’s nice to have something positive to look back to.

They say that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence but this is just human nature philosophising that something is better, more exciting, richer in content and so on, when in realty we already have the best choice right where we are 🙂

There are many paths to follow in life but quick judgements on finding the correct one is not recommended and instead one needs to fully explore what one already has prior to changing, well that is what I think anyway 🙂

Wow, that actually made me think. Thank you for your thoughts!
